This aerospoke used to be my pride and joy until i went to iceland for work. Gardener left the side gate open, I had only locked my frame as i didn’t think locking was imperative when it was behind two separate locked gates topped with barbed wire and old skool nine inch nails. But apparently it was. Some bastards jacked the beautiful wheel.
Some weeks later I very briefly chained the bike and new front wheel to the lamp post outside my house whilst i did a few things inside. My road is quite a quiet one but by no means rough. Though would you believe it, between 10:30 and 12 in the morning, my rear wheel was stolen! What!?
Should I take it as a compliment for having a great taste in bike parts? I reckon its some kid with an eye on my possessions. Police don’t give a shit, no surprise there.
I hope the culprit finds his mum sleeping with his brother. Or that he catches fire. Something along those lines.
Anyway, I’ve decided the old bike is doomed, so I’m on the hunt for a new one.
